54 Sedan

“Solidity, safety and reliability combined with style and innovation: this sums up the Austin Parker 54 Sedan, with outstanding design values from the pen of Fulvio de Simoni. An elegant yacht that combines contemporary technology with classical, retro taste.”

At first glance, the boat’s most obvious feature consists of its high, well defined sides, which only slope down towards the stern.  They contrast with the design of the superstructures, lightened by the alternation between the wrap-around window in dark glass and the white of the hard top and the coachroof below.

The superstructure gives a streamlined style to a fairly large craft; the curved lines of the sun roof are replied in the shape of the window, which starts low down in the stern and rises to the windscreen in an attractive loop.

The coachroof carries a sundeck with room for four people.

The cockpit is large and uncluttered, with an L-shaped sofa to starboard surrounding two sides of the extending external table.

The large cockpit, from which the crew cabin is accessed, forms a single surface with the bathing platform and the hangar for the hydrojet tender.

The standard propulsion system (2 MAN i6) and the perfectly balanced lines of the hull deliver a top speed of 34 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots.

When sailing, the yacht moves smoothly over the waves, without jolting or rolling.

The elegant hard top creates comfortable, roomy accommodation, protected by a glazed screen with sliding door, which separates this area from the cockpit, creating a convenient, rational space on a single level, through to the stern gangway, accessed by opening two large hydraulic doors.

The owner’s cabin is in the bows, placed diagonally across the boat, and has its own en-suite bathroom with WC, bidet and shower compartment.

The other two cabins are symmetrical twins, exactly in the middle of the boat. With two pairs of twin beds, and a shared bathroom, they have carpeted floors.

The vessel is fitted out with fine wood, finished with open-pore water-based paints for the walls, and wide, bevelled brushed planks for the floor, choice quality fabrics and full grain leather. The carefully designed interiors mean that space levels are just as impressive as the yacht’s handling performance.

All the comfortable, well-lit rooms have cupboards and wall units with every tiniest detail carefully finished, for full enjoyment of life on board.
